My husband has had a headache for more than 24 hours now. He took 4 bc powers throughout the day yesterday with no release and some advil last night that also did not help. He rarely gets headache but when he dose they only last a few hours and are helped by bc power. Last night he said he didn't feel good but he looked fine, about a min later I looked at him again he was pale white and pouring sweat. He couldnt sleep last night. I have been with him for 4 years he has NEVER called into work sick except for today and he only goes to a dr when I make him and spend a few days bugging him about it. He told me he wants to see dr today and wasn't getting outa bed till it was time to go to the dr. So this has me very worried. My question is... What type of dr would he see for this or should I take him to the ER?

I have tried downloading several programs on to my computer (google earth, audacity for mac), and the .dmg files do appear on my desktop. I can open the .dmg files and copy the actual program on to my hard drive, but when I click on the program it will not open. This happens no matter if I try to click on it in my hard drive or on my dock. When I click on it in my dock, the icon bounces once and then stops, as opposed to other programs which bounce a few times and then open. In the top left corner the word "Finder" stays there instead of changing to the program name like it should. If the information helps, several of the programs that used to work on my computer (photoshop, acrobat) have spontaneously stopped functioning. This happened at the same time that I was suddenly unable to download programs. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

How do I remove a loud hum from a (.wmv) file?

I just recorded an interview using Debut Video Capture Software and a store bought mic. The mic is not very good and produced a loud low frequency hum throughout the video. Is there a way to edit a (.wmv) file and clean up the audio, that is not expensive? I tried putting the (.wmv) files through Audacity, and I was able to clean up the hum. I opened up Windows Live Movie Maker. I loaded the (.wmv) file, and then loaded the mp3 file from Audacity. Unfortunately, Windows Live Movie Maker plays the original audio with the hum, along with the mp3 Audacity file. So, the hum was still very audible. Is there any free software that would allow me to easily clean up the (.wmv) file and remove the low hum?

How do i use noise removal in audacity without actually removing the audio i want?

Find a piece of the recording that *only* has cheering\noise and no music, and select\highlight it. Then go to Effects > Noise Removal, and click "Get Noise Profile." Then click OK. Then select\highlight the entire track, go back to Noise Removal, and adjust the numbers using the Preview. When you're satisfied click OK and wait for it to work. Done.

If I took a pregnancy test and the result appeared negative, however...?

The control line showed up, and a pink line showed up as negative, however there was a very faint pale grey line that could've been a cross to be positive, so I was just slightly confused. I took it as being negative. But after watching that show "I didn't know I was pregnant" got me just a little nervous lol. Why doesn't my headphone microphone work?

What to do when hair stylist does not listen to your request and ruins your hair beyond repair?

Talk to the owner and complain about the terrible stylist she/he has working at their salon!! And go in and show them the proof!! I got my hair butchered when I went in to get shaggy layers. It turned out terrible, it didn't blend, people made fun of me, and looked like a 6 year old cut it. We complained, and ended up getting it fixed for free by another stylist. And maybe try getting fixed somewhere else, if its just one unblended layer it can be easily fixed.

HELP I'M OUT OF CONTROL!?!? D:?

So I'm trying to recover, and yesterday I said "If I feel hungry, I should eat until I'm full" so I ate breakfast,lunch,dinner,snacks yesterday, but the problem is that it totalled 928 calories only, and I was actually happy because I managed to eat that amount in 1 whole day. Not that it's too much, it's too little, I'm aware of that. But then I couldn't sleep for the whole night, and I woke up at 6.30 am with hunger pangs! so after 30 minutes or so when I finally gave up and realized there would be no way to get back to sleep, I weighed myself and saw that I hadn't lost anything, I got frustrated and was like "F*ck it" so I ate, and was like really hungry :/ I consumed like 2000 calories. I don't know why my body does this to me though, like I get pale and dizzy and it feels like I haven't eaten for days if I don't get the right amount of food for 12 - 24 hours. So after I had consumed 2000 calories, I said I wouldn't eat until tomorrow, 6 hours later I binged on cookies :/ so THEN I purged! and THEN on top of that I took 1 bag of laxative powder. I don't want to do this anymore, it's enough! I want to like my body and I'm tired of being in auto-mode while this other unknown person inside of me is doing this. Please help, I know I can beat this on my own, but I just need some support from some people that have gone through the same! :(

Betta fish is pale and unresponsive?

Brought him home about a month ago, first time with a Betta fish, or any fish for that matter. He was sick about 2 weeks ago because I was using tap water, I quickly went out and bought a water conditioner, but now he's having similar non-responsive symptoms; he is lying on the bottom of the tank, rarely being active and only going up for air, he is not eating, just spitting the pellets out, and this is what worries me most...he's very pale. He's usually a dark purple and light pink body but now hes almost orange and the purple is looking translucent. I did a water change today, and i'm going to fast him tomorrow and maybe the next day to make sure it's not constipation or swim bladder. (he's not swimming sideways yet..) I don't have a heater because our house is quite warm, but i've been doing water cycling today (taking out 2 cups of the water and replacing it with new hot conditioned water to raise the temperature a bit) The warm water seemed to help his activity but it does not explain the paleness and the lack of eating.. Can anyone throw perspective to this? (also his gills seem slightly swollen from the last ammonia shock...I really am trying to take good care of this fish.. Laptop soundcard square/sawtooth waves?

I lately attached a home-made oscilloscope (LED matrix display) to the headphone jack of my computer. I was able to use Audacity to generate sine, square and sawtooth waves of different amplitude and frequency on the computer, and output them to the oscilloscope, where the oscilloscope drew the waveforms perfectly. However, when i tried this on a laptop computer, a very different result occurred. While sine waves were easily generated and displayed by the oscilloscope, the oscilloscope drew instead of a square wave, drew a waveform that looked distantly like a square wave, but looked more line a v=tan(t)) waveform, with spikes appearing in the middle of the top and bottom of the waveform. A similar result occur ed when i tried to use a sawtooth wave, large spikes appearing at the top of the sawtooth, not a perfect linear ramp. What i am asking, is arr the sound cards found in laptop computers incapable of creating anything other than a sine wave? I know that no device can create a perfect square or sawtooth wave (thy have finite slew rates), but do laptop sound cards tend to be more noisy than PC sound cards to the extent of producing that sort of waveform?

My fiancee smokes pot and I HATE it, I mean, I have nothing against smokin' folk, but when he smokes, he becomes negligent, ignores me, and gets dependent on it and if he can't find any, he resorts to spice (incense K12) and that makes him downright disrespectful and careless to everything and anything that pertains to me. Why do I always get mad when my parents talk to me about my ugly stomach?

Yu-Gi-Oh! Fairy deck rating?

This deck is combining all the best fairy cards together but the strategy just wont work out. I never liked fusion cards so st. joan should get out. most of these cards barely correspond with each other actually and i would suggest sticking to the forty card minimal only because it may bring out your strategy A LOT easier. I run Herald of Perfection in my deck and i suggest this card to every fairy user as well as archlord Krystia but that card costs like seventy bucks so yeah /: Your deck needs to find its strategy before it works well. But i always say that if you want to keep your fav cards in there, go for it!

You are fairly heavy for your height, but that doesn't mean you can't look good in a bikini. Since your stomach isn't the problem, show it off! The more you show your stomach the better people will think you look. Get some swim shorts to wear over your bikini bottoms to cover your thighs. But make sure they are shorter than boy's swimming trunks or you'll draw more attention to yourself. A friend of mine has really big boobs and a fat belly, but she wears jeans on bottom to help balance out her upper half. If you wear jeans or shorts over your bikini bottoms when you're not in the water, make sure they have a low rise or leave them unbuttoned because if they squeeze your stomach you'll look heavier. Most importantly, just have fun because the more fun you have the better you will look!

Hair stylist/ disaster?

I made an appointment to go to a salon ive been visiting for quite some time. Friday, I had a new stylist cut my hair. I do not blow dry or straighten my hair, because i don't want damage. Weird symptoms when waking up? Please help!?

For the past week or so, ive been waking up sweating, out of breath, weak, shaking, sore, and pale. I don't know what it is! I get 9 to 10 hours of sleep every night. It started off with just waking up with bruises all over my legs for no reason, then i got all of these symptoms, now i get horrible vivid nightmares, too. first and most importantly u just have to accept who you are! for the hair i would get maybe highlights and lowlights to add dimension also use a glossing shampoo fredrick fekai has a great one! if you have a face that is quite square WEAR IT LONG! thats the best way to soften it. u can try wearing it in a side part too and see what u think. if it is more oval then you can really do whatevs and ull still look great! with the nose u will just have to embrace it sorry! i think that that shape of lips are great but u can also use a lip plumper on the top and then put normal clear lip gloss un the bottom so u have a little plumping going on. with your eyebrows u can get bleaching cream for it and it will lighten the color but make sure you get the type made for eyebrows. also remeber tokeep them well groomed. for your eyes you can get some of the covergirl eye enhacer makeup to brighten you eyes. really hope this helps!!!!

This was one of the WORST traveling experiences in my life! I do not feel like giving all the details now, but to make a long story short..when it came to speaking with the supervisor of American Airlines at the Dallas Fort Worth Texas International Airport about my horrible situation and also about how I was entitled to a free one night in a hotel (flight delays & other things that could go wrong) she was a total ***** to me! She had absolutely NO RIGHT to act the way she did, it was just uncalled for & straight up rude. I dont know what the hell possessed her to react in such a way to what i was going through. But out of all the mean and hurtfull things she said to me, the number one thing that sticks out the most is when she said "now you better call your dad back on the phone to tell him what is going on. wouldn't want the poor old man to die of a heart attack." WHAT. THE. ****!? If I wasn't in the middle of having a mini emotional breakdown (crying, but its not completely out of control) i would have cussed the god damned ***** out & even slapped her. Everyone i talk to about this tells me i should have reported her, but in the moment i was so worked up i just wanted 2 leave i go to my hotel i did not think of doing so. But i defiantly want to, i want to get my revenge & for her to get what's coming to her, im surprised she has not been fired yet. Ok so last summer i was on vacation and we saw a big fireworks show. on the way to the hotel from there it was harder to breath and then i started shaking uncontroably. I could talk and i knew what was going on, but i couldn't stop shaking. it happened a lot that week and then when we got back it stopped for a few months until i watched the titanic. It all sarted again. it goes away in like about a half hour to 2 hours it really depends. after it happens i am really weak and tired. Just recently i went to a babysitting class and was there until lunch but then i got up to get my lunch and i grabbed on to my friend and told her i didnt feel good. i felt like i was and wasnt there like it almost felt like a dream. i was shaky but not uncontrlable. i went to the ER and they did blood test and gave me an iv and they didnt find anything wrong with me. then i went to dance and i felt almost like i had a fever and i got pale and felt that like dreamy feeling again but not as bad so i just left it alone and if someone asked i told them i felt feverish and thats it. i got home and i was soooo tired after that. do thhese sound like seizures to you?

How can I tan without burning?

Okay, look. I can never tan. EVER. I can sit outside all day, every day, or gradually and still burn, burn, burn. I'm not a redhead, I have brownish blonde hair. My dad and my brother tan GREAT, so I don't see why I can't? I've tried everything, sunscreen, tanning beds, tanning lotion, and I'm NOT gonna get a spray-on tan. I'm a guy, I don't do that. But I'm pale and it's disgusting. Is there anything I can eat or pills I could take? I also have a lot of acne, and I heard the sun cures that too. But I can't cure that without burning either! if the hospital will not take her it means she is not sick enough to take up a bed ... that is reality and you better accept it ... your sister does sound sick but if counseling has been suggested, the professionals feel she is not bad enough to be admitted to an in-patient program ... so instead of fighting the professionals, do the counseling ... and in many instances eating disordered kids do so for control, so there are some family issues that could be dealt with with counseling whether you want to acknowledge that or not ... and the other reality is, many eating disordered people continue to have the issue due to enabling by the family ... so i can see why counseling was suggested ... just because your sister has lost a great deal of weight, it obviously is not effecting her health enough to be admitted ... the kids admitted to the hospital are kids whose organs are shutting down, kids so skinny that death is their next stop ... your sister is not there yet ... and with an angry, in denial family, she could be there ... so why not take the professionals help and suggestions and when you have graduated from university and specialized in eating disorders, maybe then you can make the decisions for your sister ... but right now no one is helping her ... it has nothing to do with canadian health care (you know what your sister would get in the united states, a big fat kick in the *** unless the family has over 60 thousand dollars for in-patient treatment) ... and it is sad for your sister because if this is your attitude, blaming, denial, how can your sister even hope to get better ??? and if your parents gave her everything, maybe that is part of the problem ... why did your parents not protect her from the bully by switching schools ??? quit blaming and focus on your sister ... start the counseling with an open mind otherwise you are only hurting your sister ...

Dull complexion at age 20?

I smoked for a couple years a while back completely oblivious at the effect it was having on my skin specifically my face. Quit smoking and drank a lot of green tea ( I work for a green tea co, so easily 8-10 cups a day) the caffine in the tea ended up making me break out really bad, again, completely oblivious that it was the tea I thought it was stress or sugar. Finally figured it out and switched to caffine free... (Insult to injury, I first was worried about my lifeless skin, then moderate acne, now acne scars!) when acne cleared I went to the dermatologist and got a chemical peel to even the skin tone. Which helped a lot with skin tone and scaring, but I still feel that I'm quite pale... I exfoliate with a vitamin c scrub once a week, use a natural pomegrant softening toner, eye cream for my always tired looking eyes, and a vitamin c moisturzer with spf 30. I don't tan cuz I know how bad it is for skin and I feel like I'm basically doing everything right .. my sleeping schedule is pretty bad but I still get 7-8 hours of sleep and I eat healthy when I can ( not my choice my mom buys all the groceries so I don't have my pick of fresh veggies and fish) stopped taking hair skin and nail vitamins cuz I felt they weren't doing much. BTW, my skin tone is a really nice olive. I'm black Korean and white so its more of a tan light skinned black girl thing going on. My skin on the face just looks dull and lifeless no matter what I do and I know its from smoking, but I've been told that the skin has really amazing healing abilities, especially since I'm young. I plan on exersizing some more but I'm a pretty fit person as well. Sorry about the rant but I'm pretty confused as to what else I need to do here. Oh and its been like 7-8 months since I quit smoking.

Is it ok to put my bra in the washer and dryer?

I don't have that many bras because my bra size is a bit hard to find outside of Victoria's Secret, which means each one costs at least $50 for me. So each bra I have gets quite a bit of wear and they can stretch out. I was wondering if it is alright to put them in a dryer and washer because I put my Miraculous Bra in there this morning and it came out fine and fitting like the first day I bought it. I had thought my boobs had shrunk because the bra was stretched that badly but now it's perfect! I took the straps off before I dried it.
