Should I wear my brown scapular in the pool?

I am Catholic and wear the Brown Scapular(if your Catholic you'll know what that is.....if your not you can look it up) I don't wear it in the shower but should I wear it in the pool. I don't want it to get ruined, but what happens if I drown?? With the scapular I wear a Miraculous Medal and a Saint Michael/Guardian Angel Medal.
