Did Audacity remove the 'vocal removal' option?

I often times would use audacity to remove the vocal track from songs but when I downloaded audacity for my mac it didn't have the vocal removal effect. Is this effect not available for mac? Or is it not available at all anymore? If it's not available anymore can you suggest another free music editing program that can remove vocals?
