Are successful blood transfusions God's punishment for lack of faith?

At least according to Christian Scientists who rely only upon the miraculous power of faith healing which, oddly, has the same cure rate as the wait and see approach. Think about it though, if you hadn't relied upon the false idol science instead of your Lord you would be in the infinite paradise of Heaven right now instead of still being stuck on this miserable little planet. (Is it really miserable though? Or do you just lack imagination?)
